Who this is for.
You are in your late 30s or 40s
Your cycles are changing. Your sleep is not the same. Your mood has shifted. Most providers tell you these are stress or aging. They are not. They are perimenopause, and they deserve a real workup.
You are in menopause or postmenopause
You stopped having periods. The symptoms have not stopped. Hot flashes, vaginal dryness, sleep disruption, brain fog, joint pain. You want a clinician who treats menopause as a long stage, not a finish line.
You had a hysterectomy or oophorectomy
Your hormonal picture is different from natural menopause. You need a provider who understands what you are missing, what you still have, and what your symptoms actually mean.
You have been dismissed
You were told your labs are normal. You were offered an antidepressant. You were rushed. You want a clinician who does the workup most providers skip.
What is included.
Full clinical history
I take the time to map your symptom timeline, cycle history, prior treatments, and family history. This is the conversation most providers skip.
Targeted workup
I order the labs your case calls for. The workup matches your symptoms, your stage, and your goals. Not a one-size template.
Hormone therapy evaluation
If hormone therapy fits your case, I walk you through the options. Routes, formulations, dosing, expected timeline, and the evidence behind each choice.
Non-hormonal options when appropriate
Not every case calls for hormone therapy. For patients where it does not fit, I build a non-hormonal plan that addresses what you are dealing with.
Symptom-specific care
Sleep, mood, vaginal and urinary changes, cognitive symptoms, sexual health, and bone health. Each gets attention, not a single blanket prescription.
Long-term partnership
Perimenopause and menopause are not single visits. We adjust the plan as your stage changes and as your response to treatment evolves.
My approach.
Most providers treat perimenopause and menopause from a 1990s playbook. They wait for hot flashes to start before they take you seriously. They miss the sleep, mood, and cognitive changes that come first. They prescribe based on the lowest common denominator instead of your specific case.
I do not work that way.
I treat perimenopause and menopause as a continuum that starts earlier than most providers acknowledge. I read the current evidence and apply it. I use hormone therapy as evidence-based first-line care for the women it fits. I do not overpromise outcomes, and I do not undertreat. I tell you what I know, what I do not know, and what the evidence says. Then we build the plan together.
Hormone therapy runs on a scheduled follow-up cadence. Each follow-up visit covers your symptoms, dose adjustment, labs, and refills.
