Direct-pay. No insurance. No surprises.

Every fee is published. Every visit is direct-pay. Labs are billed separately by the lab. Nothing about the cost is left for you to figure out at checkout.

Why direct-pay.

Insurance billing forces a fifteen-minute visit and a billing code that does not match the work. The provider has to choose between doing the workup the patient needs and getting paid for the time it takes. Most providers choose the billing code. The patient is the one who absorbs the difference.

I built AVENORA on a direct-pay model so the visit can match the work. Forty-five minutes for an initial workup. Thirty minutes for an established preconception visit. The fee reflects the time, the attention, and the expertise. No upcharges. No coded visits. No prior authorizations.

The patients who come to me through direct-pay are the patients who have already done the math. They have paid for visits that delivered nothing. They are tired of fighting their insurance company for care that should be standard. They want a clinician who is paying attention to their case instead of their billing cycle.

If that is the kind of care you are looking for, the pricing below is the full picture.

What the visit fee does not cover.

Labs

Labs are ordered through CPL (Clinical Pathology Laboratories) and billed separately. You can pay cash at time of service or use your insurance directly through CPL. The cash-pay rates are reasonable. Most patients use a combination of both depending on the test.

Imaging

When imaging is needed, I refer to partners with cash-pay rates in the Corpus Christi area, including Radiology Associates Corpus Christi and Radiology and Imaging. Imaging is billed by the imaging center directly.

Medications

Prescriptions are filled at your pharmacy. Some are inexpensive. Some, like GLP-1 medications, can be costly without insurance coverage. I work with you on the most affordable option that fits your case.

Procedures or specialty referrals

Some workups require a procedure or a referral to a specialist. Those are billed by the provider performing them, not by me.

Payment and policies.

Payment is due at time of service

I accept credit cards, debit cards, HSA cards, and FSA cards. Payment is processed at the time of your visit.

HSA and FSA accepted

Most visits qualify as a medical expense under HSA and FSA rules. Use your HSA or FSA card directly at checkout. If you need a receipt for reimbursement, I provide one with the visit code and diagnosis.

Superbills available

If your insurance offers out-of-network reimbursement, I provide a superbill on request. The reimbursement process is between you and your insurance.

Cancellation policy

I ask for 24 hours notice on cancellations or reschedules. Same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged the full visit fee. I respect your time and ask the same in return.

New patient registration

A complete intake form is required before your first visit. I send the link when you book. The form is in your ClientCare portal.
