Preventive Gynecology
Annual well-woman care, cancer screening, contraception planning, and reproductive health maintenance, delivered without the 15-minute clock.

Who this is for.
You want an annual that is actually annual
A real well-woman visit that addresses your whole reproductive health picture. Not a 12-minute pap smear and a generic prescription refill.
You are planning contraception
Choosing a method, switching methods, or stopping contraception before pregnancy. I walk you through the options and the trade-offs based on your case.
You are in your 20s or 30s and want a baseline
Establishing care before you need it. Knowing your cycle, your labs, and your reproductive timeline before something is wrong is the strongest prevention strategy you can build.
You want screening done correctly
Pap smears, HPV testing, breast exams, STI screening, and bone density discussion when relevant. The standards have evolved. The visit should reflect that.
What is included.
Comprehensive well-woman exam
Full reproductive health history, physical exam when needed, and age-appropriate screening based on current guidelines.
Cervical cancer screening
Pap smear and HPV testing based on your age and history. I follow current ACOG and ASCCP guidance. I do not over-test or under-test.
STI screening
Confidential, judgment-free screening based on your sexual history and risk factors. Results delivered with context and a plan if needed.
Contraception consultation
Method selection, switching, troubleshooting side effects, removing devices, and planning the transition off contraception when pregnancy is the goal.
Cycle and menstrual health
Painful periods, heavy bleeding, irregular cycles, and PMS or PMDD addressed with the workup they deserve. Not a default birth control prescription.
Risk assessment and prevention planning
Family history review, breast cancer risk assessment, cardiovascular risk in younger women, and the screening plan that fits your case.
My approach.
A well-woman visit should be the visit where your whole reproductive health picture gets attention. In most practices, it is the visit that gets rushed first. Twelve minutes to cover contraception, cycle issues, family history, screening, and any concern you came in with. That is not enough time. It is not enough time for me, and it is not enough time for you.
I run preventive visits the way they should be run. Forty-five minutes for the initial. Half an hour for established care. I take the history, I do the exam, I answer the questions, and I leave room for the conversation that matters. Preventive care done well is the highest return on investment in women's health. I treat it that way.
